 Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception 


     The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin Mary is a neo-Gothic cathedral in Moscow and the largest Catholic cathedral in Russia the Cathedral of the Archdiocese of the Mother of God led by Metropolitan Archbishop Paolo Pezzi. It is one of the two existing Catholic churches in Moscow along with the church of St. Louis of the French (except for two churches in Moscow there is also a Catholic chapel of St.Olga). In the cathedral masses are served in Russian, Polish, Korean, Vietnamese, English, French, Spanish, Latin. There are also masses about the Armenian rite, the Tridentine Mass, meetings of the youth, classes in catechesis, organ charity concerts and concerts of sacred music. The cathedral has a library and a church shop. Since 2009 an educational course of Western European sacred music is held in the cathedral giving Russian musicians knowledge and skills in the field of Gregorian chant and organ improvisation.
