The Museum - Exhibition Centre "Worker and Collective Farm Girl" was solemnly opened in 2010 in the reconstructed object of the Heritage - the hall-pedestal in the proportions repeating a similar structure, created in 1937, designed by Boris Iofana for the World Exhibition in Paris. The pedestal is crowned by the famous sculpture by Vera Mukhina "Worker and Collective Farm Girl". In the house ther can be up to 1200 people at the same time. This is a great museum and exhibition complex, which houses a museum, three floors with rooms for removable expositions, conference room. The exposition of the museum tells the story of the creation of the pavilion and sculpture for the Paris World Exhibition in 1937. Here are exhibited archival documents and photographs, models of buildings, paintings and sculpture, as well as memorabilia belonging to Boris and Vera Mukhina Iofanom.
