“Udarnik” is one of the oldest movie theatres in Moscow. It was the main area of the country to premiere films up to the beginning of the 1990s. The cinema was opened in 1931. For many years “Udarnik” remained the largest movie theater in Moscow: it could accommodate 1,500 people, daily showing 8-9 movies and tickets in this cinema were the most expensive in the capital.
Currently theater is closed for another renovation.
